Because it’s a leather item and your Hunter can only transmog mail items.

Kinda silly considering Hunters and Paladins used to be able to wear both cloth or leather. Hunters could only do so until about level 40 if I recall. So its really dumb they cant t-mog leather items today.
It’s a non-issue. 99,9% of Hunter players aren’t wearing any leather item in the first place.

god damn it, explains pretty much…I screwed up by creating leather instead of mail due to their names “algari competitor’s…” are allmost the same. Thx for explanation

I remember the old times when hunter was all about leather. Mail was for warriors and heavy geared guys.
Paladins were using leather armor and agi weapons as well.
