Can't type in Trade chat

I have a banking alt, which I use for auction house. It’s a lvl 1 character. He has Always been able to type in Trade, suddenly my text isn’t showing up in chat anymore. The channel is active, tried resetting it several time, loaded the game without addons, still not working. My other chars can type in Trade
Any idea what might be wrong?

Hey Yleth,

It sounds like the channel might be listed as active, but actually is not. Try and re-join the channel by leaving it first and rejoining it afterwards. In chat, type in:

/leave Trade
/join Trade

And see if that fixes this for you.

Did you check chat settings? right click on chat window and see settings… channels is it turn on or off. Try to /resetchat or /chat reset xD I forgot it . I had same problem and after resetting chat all was ok.

As I stated in my opening post, I tried reset several times, leaving and joining, loading without addons, my alt simply cannot post in trade

Yes I did, tried resetting chat and UI
It is only my bank alt that can’t post in trade. He can read it just fine, it’s only when I type something it doesn’t show up

Huh I hope you will soon get answer how to fix this , I belive it is annoying. I had some bug on one char, I did not see objectives and q list. But in some miracle problem was solved by himself lol. Every time I wanted to enter in que for world boss I needed to reload game. Objectives like dungeon, warfront did not count it was freeze. Still don’t know how was possible that one char have that error.

Today I noticed that I could type good morning in Trade chat. Then I tried selling something, linked the item and tekst didn’t show up. It’s frustrating. The chat window is Interactive so that shouldn’t be the problem. It is only my level 1 banker alt that has this problem. It was fine a week ago, now it isn’t. Is there a level restriction on Trade Chat?

I have that exact issue, but with all channels, not just trade. Noticed it on one of my twinks/alts (whatever you call them). Tried all of the above. It fixed it for one channel, but the others are still not working.
