For the health and well-being of gamers and also to make the server accessible to more players, there should be a limit on the number of hours an account can be logged in per day.
For instance, it could be set at 6 hours. This would encourage Thekal gamers to return to employment and to take care of themselves outside of World of Warcraft.
This would also have the benefit of discouraging people from keeping themselves logged in for long durations, and besides, playing beyond 6 hours per day is unhealthy - that will pickle the gamer’s brains if done often enough.
Or they make another pvp fresh server offer free tranfer there. And IF and from the looks of it thats a big if, it dies down merge servers. 7 hour queues on a monday at 14.30 uk time over 12k people in the queue. Hello wakey wakey. All servers having queues. Can we please wake up now.
Nope, in most countries a bar will not continue to serve you if you are intoxicated all the way to death’s doorstep. WoW & gaming addiction should be the same.
6 hours would be a fair compromise anyway - what healthy, gainfully employed person plays for longer than that anyway? This would improve Thekal gamer’s health whilst effectively eliminating the queues.
Perhaps we could add “holiday allowances” where players can opt for more hours on a short-term basis.
