Careful with emails, this looked authentic survey

Even the domain was @em.blizzard.com , with a genuinely interesting subject of answering a survey. It’s that “em.” that’s enough to make it scam. And it passed the gmail filter.

edit: You know, i’m not even 100% sure it was a scam. Guildie said he did the survey… Would be nice to get some kind of confirmation.

It’s not a scam. They send them out periodically.

Dont reply just to be safe.

Technically it doesn’t have to be scam/phishing.

To be able to use em.blizzard.com as maildomain you must own (the domain) blizzard.com as well. Now there are ofc ways to spoof it, but if that’s not the case (check the mail headers) this can perfectly be real.

It is safe. Even mentions in the email that their surveys won’t ask for emails/passwords, which is a very clear denoter of scam emails which will always try to get your login credentials.

Lots of us have done the surveys, literally nothing to worry about.

em.blizzard.com is a subdomain of Blizzard.

Be careful what you click on, but if the links actually lead to em.blizzard.com, and not some other website, you can safely click it.

I like how I’m not allowed to link to Blizzard’s website on the WoW forums because it might be untrustworthy. WTF CM’s? xD

I have never received survey emails from blizzard for the past 3 years now
