not true 1 person can easily carry a raid on normal, 1 perrson doing double dmg of everyone else easily allows you to skip many mechanics aka you are carrying the raid and making it easier for everyone else
“Carry” really means ‘couldn’t have done it without you’. If the OP was 450 as claimed, clearly they could have done it without him. Hence it wasn’t a carry. Carry and “ooh we skipped a mechanic because of high dps” aren’t remotely the same thing.

it doesnt matter if you have the log or not. The question how can you support bad loot system? Group Loot needs to go away and bring back PL.

I have lfr example on my lock, idk if there are logs. On a boss that you need to soak, no one was soaking basically, or not enough, and only me and other DPS were alive for half+ fight. That’s carrying LFR 100%. My ilvl was around theirs and in the end me and other had like 100k+ DPS (not much but enough for destro who had to heal a lot and move more than needed), and others like 5-30k or so. Ilvl means nothing if you can’t play lol.

No, you did 1 mechanic that others should have done too. You wouldn’t have done the total kill of the boss alone though. You needed the others too.

Who said they could clear the raid without being able to skip that one mechanic? Make it make sense, you just wanna argue about stuff because you got nothing better to do.
Obiviously but that doesnt mean you cant carry the raid, obiviously 1 tank, 1 healer or 1 dps cant solo the whole boss but ahving 1 that can do their role really good compared to the rest is a big difference like Fyrakk being able to skip intermission and p1 fast is really good, tindral with hes shields having 1-2 guys doing a lot more dps basically carrying the dps will make it easier to get the kill

Personal problem? Fact is you need the others. You can’t carry a raid alone. Not sure why that means i got personal problems. You can contribute more than the average player. And that is basically it.
This means you are not agreeing with the poster so, you must be insane… its the only answer.
You can, just aswell as you can carry a game in csgo, valorant etc carrying means you are doing most of the work and doing super well compared to everyone else it doesnt mean you can do it all solo. again you are just arguing and playing semantics cuz you got nothing better to do with your time. please go outside get some friends

You can do more than the average but you can not do the job of 10 people. It is just what it is. And no i can not get outside. I am at work at the moment. I do not need to get more friends, it is already hard enough to maintain the current amount.
You should stop exagerating and trying to offend people with assuming personal problems or real life issues. I am not saying anything about you either while having completely factually wrong expressions here.
Yeah i am carrying. I only needed the tanks, healers and other dps too in the group

You cannot carry a normal raid at 450, it’s impossible.

I believe OP. Not everyone gets carried by their guilds you know, some of us do the carrying.
I consider group loot worse but not for the reason OP thinks. It treats mog collectors unfavorably and sometimes gives loot that is not usable by anyone in the raid, but bad RNG is just bad RNG. Personal loot can and will give you items you don’t want that you have to waste time on a roll (introverts don’t like interacting in chat), or nobody just needs at all and then it’s also wasted loot. And if it’s an ilvl upgrade you can’t even trade it away.
Removal of personal loot was the biggest mistake of modern wow
