One person can’t carry a whole raid, but yeah, most of the times worst players get loot. I remember one mage was getting one loot per boss or two, in pug normal raid in first week, and she was doing like 60k DPS on boss while other did double or more

450 ilvl. So not really. Was just an alt I wanted to gear up. But will just gave up on that
You can’t carry normal at 450, so I call bs. (My 480 hunter could just about carry it, but only if at least one tank and healer stay alive to the end of every boss.)

If you can carry a whole raid then you don’t need the loot.
Don’t say for transmogs that you won’t even use as that’s no reason to carry a raid when you can just solo the raid later on to unlock the trophy mogs.

You can if people are underperforming, people just attacking op for no reason, as usual on this forum. You never saw a 460 frost mage doing 40k DPS on a boss? Just lying so can attack the op. And ya, people who don’t know how to play their class, don’t need the loot, they need to learn rotation.
You helped the nublets gear and you took no item for yourself. You are like a legend to the noobs. So there’s that.

Not at 450 ilvl. You can top the meters if everyone else is similarly geared and playing badly, but you can’t carry the raid.

Had this too. When you say “last boss drops always one additional item” players usually tend to assume it means THEY get at least one.
It’s absolutely stupid to have the boss drop only 1 + 1 total 2 items that 2/5 ppl loot.
Give every player at least 1 item at the last, if not every boss. Like every dungeon had it forever.

Sure, but few people can carry whole raid in a way. Especially in some bosses if you stay last, etc.
Nobody can carry a whole raid, that is scaled for at least 10 people, alone.
