Why, why did you even announce Cartel Chips in the first place, when it is a system only 1% of player base benefit from? Meaning 8/8M raiders.
How is it fair that 0.1% players from m+ who do not play the raid are left with heroic versions of the most OP items in the game?
I am purely pugging 0.1%, just good old LFG. When you are pugging that level of keys, your only metrics are rio and ilvl. Another thing to check is previous seasons score and number of R1 titles. That is it. Some people are cringe checking raid logs, which does not even make sense since raid has different hero talents, different talents in general and different playstyle 99% of the time.
Who do you think gets an invite. Elemental shaman with full mtrack including mtrack Best in Slot or an Elemental shaman with heroic BiS? Because heroic BiS is weaker than even crafted weapon. Who do you think gets an invite. Raider who is full mtrack or m+ only player who got 5-6 items when lucky in the vault and heroic trinkets with dinars? I personally have 4 mtrack items, because I got 3 weeks of dupes / bad vaults. And unlike raiders I cannot just loot my item. So when I sign up, there is likely gonna be 4 other players for that 17/18 key with exact same score, but more ilvl and best trinkets, while I am left with dungeon only ones and 668 ilvl, because of unlucky vaults.
So where is catch up system for m+ players? Why are mythic dinars limited to raiders. Just give it to m+ players who for example timed all 15s, that sounds pretty damn reasonable. Stop forcing boring content that is literally like a second job onto people who like to come online, play 1 key and turn the game off over sitting 4 hours in raid, not even allowed to pee
Or just FINALLY split m+ from raid completely. Just make dungeon gear scale to higher ilvl in dungeon instances. That way we will need 0 items from the raid to play the content we like.
All that is gonna happen now is people buying mythic boss kills with RMT to be able to buy gear. Great job blizzard, you just supported chinese black market
You don’t need myth track trinkets to to be maxed for a huge value of house of cards or best in slot or diamond ring , second of all , m+ system is repeatable , so you can farm your bis no matter compared to raids , where you can only do the content once a week and probably lose every roll.
Same goes for mythic raid , do you want mythic raid loot ? go sign up for guilds that do mythic raiding , the hardest challenges comes with the biggest rewards , i would agree on one thing , and that is the lack of rewards on the highest key levels , but i would assume that everyone on these forum posts can’t go past +14 keys , so 14 and beyond should have a myth track token reward once a week that you can buy mythic dungeon gear only , that would incentivize players to push higher content and make it feel rewarding a bit.
You thinking that it only benefits mythic raiders so so silly , one of my friends did heroic raids for 5 weeks straight and still can’t get his house of cards , neither best in slot or the diamond ring , the drop is so low , that even if it drops you still need to win over 10+ people rolling for it.
Also buying mythic nonsense raid , is so expensive , like a full mythic raid carry is probably 45 mil gold , do you realize how much is that tho , just to get from heroic track bis trinket to myth track ? how ridiculous that sounds.
starting the think it is just Blizzard trying to force people to buy WoW tokens to pay for boosts. Some very dodgy business practices and i think they will be punished for it at some point like they were loot boxes.
Best in Slot on heroic is weaker in power than crafted weapon ( already explained in OP ), sure you get value from trinkets and jastor diamond for example, BUT! You still get around 1% less dps/hps PER ITEM + lower metrics in ilvl for people to check.
So? It will make people buy tokens or chinese RMT gold to buythose boosts. Which is a huge problem.
Dinar system has been in place for what, 3 seasons now? And everytime it was mtrack for everyone and it had the most positive reviews ever. People loved it, mythic raiders did not care one bit that some player doing only world content is happy af with their mtrack trinket, since it did not affect them in any way.
But this time it affects people in high end keys A SH*T TON.
And yeah I do all raid difficulties every week, including 3 mythic bosses with a pug a week and so far got 0 items. So sure, am I gonna buy heroic trinkets immediately? Yes. Am I still gonna be massive behind people who have no RL and have a second job called raiding? Yes. And I should not be. Raid should have nothin to do with m+
You are right. I think that all this Dinar debacle simply exacerbates a problem that already existed in the gearing process.
There would be much less drama if M+ trinkets were competitive in power to the raid ones. Or if drop rates in M+ were reduced… ect…
All this points to the same direction: Gearing needs an overhaul. For raids, and M+. All these systems (Vault, Dinars, ect…) are simply “band-aids” that never really solve the issue.
And this overhaul is like… 5/6 years too late. Its WAY overdue.
We need mythic to not have ID. I do not have time for a guild. But I do have time to play for 1 hour. That might be enough to tackle down a boss or two I need. Idk why we are forced to haev ID
y’all are too greedy. giving out the best raid items with mythic track for free for everyone would make raiding trival and no one would bother with pushing mythic… and we still have long ahh time of this season left… heroic track is not even bad, should be normal tbh. Society is so spoiled that gaming industry will die soon, because everyone want everything for free, fast and the best would be if they wouldn’t even have to play. AI autopilot will be a thing soon and people are so weird they will pay for games to let bots play for them, I hope it will be banned as fast as it will be put to existence
