Correct. You pay commission for the service (the last one of mine I can remember is Uber I had few days ago, was funny and good company so I tipped after the ride) and you add tip as a bonus.
if we disregard multiple hours and resources spent into leveling and maintaining professions, then yes its just a press of a button. but I dont think disregarding the effort is the move

Why does it matter what people charge?
If people want to charge basically no service payment then you can easily just refuse the customer just as the person who can make the items can demand a payment.
The case is; You want to make gold out of it which is fair and people have every right to but, for me personally I care more about helping others with the [Made by Felentrick] tag being a really nice touch.
So if I don’t ask for a tip but you do and a Customer prefers to come to me than you then isn’t that an issue with you?
There may be times where people who are doing it for free can’t really do it because they have no concentration, skill papers left w/e. But, that way you’re still going to get paid.
So like…What’s the folly here? Are you wanting to make this cartel because you get no business at all?

I can make the majority of blue quality profession tools with blacksmithing - at 4 star quality. There’s only two that i can’t (i’ll have to check which). And i’ll happily make them if the mats are provided.
I also have alt with letherworking and enchanting, make sure to get alt with those too

Got almost all Blacksmithing and Engineering plans of old (for transmogging), and most for TWW, just need to add more points, but if you bring everything, and no concentration is needed, then a tip is welcomed, no need for a fee if I don’t use any actual resources.
