Shadow priest is terrible in pvp

I have dropped mind-games and gone full defensive into basic priest talent tree. That helped a little to compensate 5 percent passive def nerf. I don’t see worth taking mind-games then you aren’t playing 3x3 premade, where you can communicate land kills. I have started winning again, however the solo queue is still about rng and not a skill.

Melee classes literally unplayable

The difference is that melee is easier to pick up for a new, average or casual player. So it is normal that in the leaderboard there will be fewer melees on 2400+ ratings, however, they will stomp casters on lower ratings such as 1800+. Casters will scale better on late patches when they get more haste, plus usual hardcore or pro players play casters more so they automatically will push higher in the leaderboards.

Melee is easier so it is normal there are less melee at low rating
