They have it for moonkin.
Personally, I’d love to see something similar for cat/bear.
It makes no sense to be a shapeshifter class that uses abilities that require bestial claws and bites to stay in your humanoid form, it would feel ridiculous.
The only reason Moonkins are allowed to have an Astral Form that lets them show their caster form is because they are casting spells, which by iteself poses no disassociation between the abilities you use and the model you are seeing on screen.
This is not possible with Bear and Cat forms.
What can be done instead is to give us more customization options in these forms in order to personalize them more.

Well… Werewolves use their claws and stuff you know. And they are in humanoid form. So this argument doesn’t seem very strong.

Far from a weak argument. A Werewolf or any kind of were-form is just a bestial form standing in 2 feet, just like the Claws of Shirvalah was back in WoD.
You still wont be able to see your humanoid form and your transmog.
The point here is that, there is a very clear reason behind Bestial Forms are not given an option to just be depicted in your caster form, and thats because it creates visual inconsistency.
While Moonkin is just an added flavor that can be removed via a glyph and not create any disassociation between your abilities and your character model.
Yeah. Thats 1 race from how many now that has claws? 7?
If you want to play a class that is not a shapeshifter you could always play something else. Having astral glyph for boomie is one thing but clawing and biting trolls and night elves? Cmon.

We’re in 2019. Blizzard takes decisions, lorewise included, that makes no sense.
No argument is strong enough to defeat the idea.
Moreover, we’re already using noggenfogger elixir to get something like that. So what ? Why are you against that idea ? If you don’t like the blue ghost cat, just don’t use it. If you don’t like caster form claws, don’t use it. Is that so hard ?
