Cat prowl speed

Why the hell do they still have lowered movement speed? On various dungeons (halls for example when you jump down) you lose a lot of dps because the pet takes forever to get there.

And before anyone says
“Lol just dismiss it before jumping”
IT IS NOT FASTER

Heck, you should not be forced to do such stupid things

Agree.

However, I don’t have that issue with my cat(s) because of the macro I made for KC, or at least not always.
Originally I did this because I didn’t want the cat in perma-stealth, but I also didn’t wanna lose the extra dmg they get because of it, so what I did was I turned off automatic Prowl and then to my Kill Command macro I added the line /cast Prowl.

This way when I press my Macro, if the pet is in range for KC it will still stealth during the dash of KC, and apply the bonus dmg, if it isn’t in KC range he will just stealth and normally walk towards the target to attack it due to the /petattack line I also have on the macro (which, might I add, also helps with LoS on KC by making the pet get closer to the target even if said targed it hidden behind a wall or something.).

So, despite the original intention of that macro being aesthetic, it ended up helping with funcionality aswell.

Im not sure if it still works but try this: Tell pet to stay then jumped down and start to cast dismiss pet (you just need to start it) and the pet should teleport next to you.

Just turn off Prowl if you want to, the damage is negligible anyway. You lose more Damage through mis-management than you gain by using it.

If you really wanna use it you should have a keybind for it.
