[Cata Classic] Mount disappeared from collection and no longer mountable

Im playing Cataclysm classic on my character Horde Goblin Priest level 29, earlier today I bought riding skill and the mount Goblin Trike. Everything was fine but when I logged in later today and tried to use the mount again I get a red message across the screen that says “Requires Horde”. If I look in my mount collection, it says that I have “total mounts collected = 1” but I don’t see Goblin Trike anywhere, and I have checked that the filter “collected” is turned on. Have tried disabling all addons aswell and restart but nothing works

My Goblin Trike mount disappeared from my collection (although it still counts it into my amount of mounts collected since the number is 2, the other being my subscription mount).

It’s not a filters issue since I’ve checked all the boxes multiple times and nothing changed.

I tried “/use goblin trike” command but got a “Requires Horde” notification while playing this (Goblin Rogue) character which is super weird.

I also made new WTF, Interface and Cache folders but nothing changed.

The mount disappeared after I flew during the “Airborne Again” quest in Azshara which suggests you take a plane from Bilgewater Harbor that then proceeds to drop you to the next quest hub with a parachute, I got the “Going Down?” Achievement from it and then tried to mount as I got the “Requires Horde” notification and thus ran into said issue.

Help would be appreciated since I am stumped.

Sorry I can’t provide you which much help on the issue!
But the exact same thing happened to me today. But it had nothing to do with “Airborne Again” quest. I just logged in hours later on my 29 Goblin Priest and got the “Requires Horde” and “Collection” problems when I try to use the Goblin Trike

Good to know I’m not alone and apparently not related to my specific scenario which I doubted in the first place but you never know with these things.

Appears to be a goblin trike issue specifically then.

Exactly the same has happened to me.
Even a Ui reset with add-on manager disabled hasn’t worked.

No more riding at all for me… :smiling_face_with_tear:
Having a blast (running) around questing from 30-40…
Pray to god “Goblin Turbo-Trike” at least works when I hit 40

No known issues with this at the moment, but I do see a number of similar reports.

Please do use the in-game bug reporter from the effecter character and hopefully any issues can be tracked down and fixed quickly:

Issue seems to be affecting Goblin Trike as a whole.

Sad to say this but “Goblin Turbo-Trike” doesn’t work either so ye same issue

Well thank you for the heads up!
There must be some other mount I can buy at 40 without any hard work like farming rep or by drop-chance

i have the same issue, can’t use my goblin trike and gives me the error message “Requires Horde”

Same here. I wonder how long will it take to resolve this. I don’t have any other mounts or the means to obtain them, and I’m not thrilled about the idea of running quests without a mount at all :smiling_face_with_tear:

got a reply today. they are aware of the problem, but have no ideer when this will be fixed
