Hi, i have a question.
Me and friends will be playing Cata classic, we not planning extremely tryhard just play for fun and some mounts and titles? …
And here is question: Is possible to climb decent ratting with triple DPS ? Classes are not 100% but maybe double mage+rogue or double rogue+mage - is it playble? Was it playble years ago ? I played Cata only on free servers, so i dont know how it was… Or is healer rly MUST ?

I remember last phase of OG cata, triple dps was a thing (ret+hunter+rogue)
Most rogues i met had FoF, so no idea how important that is. But its deffo viable. Also saw double boomkin/mage, but i think that was in mop maybe with symbiose?
Yes.
The triple DPS comps that are most viables have a ret pal in them, because during burst a retpal’s healing is on par with that of a proper healer. Ret/Hunt/Rogue is probably the best triple DPS, but Dk/Ret/Hunt is also viable, double mage rogue as well, although it probably is the weakest of the comps I’ve mentionned.
Ret hunter Rogue, but from what i remember it req ret to have 2 set from T13 to work ( juggment generate HP)
Alsow from what i remember Rshaman/affi/X was realy good and worked fore almost any class and Rdruid was kinda realy bad in last patch
alsow any Caster with staff was instantly Op and DS trinkets and weaponds were kinda broken
