Doubt they will or even can give you a charge. But it’s stated in the catalyst UI interface what pieces contain tier and what pieces don’t.

That doesnt make sense what u said , before i had no idea i could even do this so obv its didnt affect me, so when i found out i was missing out yeah its demotivating initially but yeah its only a week so its not THAT bad
I’m afraid you’re out of luck my dude, Blizzard have made it clear for a long time that you can add any item to the catalyst and it will upgrade it, only relevant pieces that are tier set pieces originally can be made into tier, and even then you need to be careful what pieces you use. For example, cypher gear even up to 252 won’t convert to tier. if you used it on boots as far as Blizzard is concerned the catalyst did it’s job. If it’s any consolation I made the same mistake with a cloak.

There’s an additional 5 second countdown before the Accept button becomes available for the transform, this was put there so that players can double check what they are doing.
Players that rush through without reading & checking deserve what they get.

I mean, u can already have 3 energy this week( iirc ) u didnt even know about it untill now so u still have your 2 set as u will have anyway, u will have 3 but that changes nothing. So rn your power should be same ,and next boost comes week later . Right?

no i have two this week not 3 , and the boots doesnt give bonuses so make it 1
This is a user error problem, and why they need to put safety warning things on everything so people don’t try to put them inside them or electrocute themselves. The text shows a warning saying it will not give you a tier bonus and the item you receive is shown beforehand.
The only way this can happen is if you just read nothing, check nothing and just press go. At that point as unfortunate as it may be for you it’s user error, to the extent where you even bypassed the fail-safes.

Me neither bro…if there was actualy preview of the item you are going to create. Then 10 sec pop up window asking you for confirmation where you cannot press anything other than just wiev the item read the description and cancel.

And what would that change?..the warrning is here you just didnt read it…made a mistake and now fighting with everybody that the warrning should be in last window…but why? Would you read that one or just not read it like the first one ending up with same result?..
Game clearly tells you that only head legs hands shoulders ansld chest does have bonuses. It doesnt need to say that anything else wont.
Its like putting a sign infront of a cliff with “Warrning : cliff ahead”…then someone just walks off the cliff and falls down…and then blame the owner of the property/sign that theres no warrning that you actualy can fell of the cliff if you walk over.

I did same mistake. No idea why other pieces can put in there and kinda upgrade it, but it’s wrong piece. My mistake. I will just wait logout and won’t play till I can get my set piece :d
come on dude, it gives you the preview of the item and it doesn’t let you click the button to reforge it for 5 seconds AND it tells you if you are sure

dont be so surprised. I did it in a rush, i had like 10 seconds time before I had to go offline. Its very first time and normally cant upgrade, enchant, gem ect item what are not supposed to be upgraded. Its very first time that I could upgrade item what wasnt suppose to be upgraded. I would say they just forgot to make it as its suppose to be.
Like 20 people had to say. I cant believe you cant read like I can, its just so baaaaaad, how you cant read and do mistakes like that? its just unimaginable. wth. ect.

We never said you CAN’T read, we said you DON’T read the catalyst texts.
So there was no need to rush through the process in 10 seconds, you could have waited.
It does.
It shows you the item you are about to create and even has a timer in the accept button to stop you going too quickly.
If you had looked at the item you would have seen it wasn’t a tier piece and we wouldn’t be having this conversation.
So stop blaming others for your own impatient shortcomings
