Today was the first time i knew about tier sets . Because of that i had 2 charges to use in the catalyst creation. I used the helm and boots , but i had no idea that boots didnt give tier set bonus, I just cant believe it. This really made me lose motivation losing out on huge powers like this because of a simple mistake like this… I made a ticket asking for help if they can give my charge back and remove the charge on the boots
I hope they will help because i had TWO charges this week that shows iam new to this and i didnt know. I just hope they can help i really do, i cant even login and play now because i just think about the mistake i did and it really demotivates me . This happend on my ret paladin in outland, name : Resolving

Also, it’s really on you, you made a mistake. You could clearly see the boots you would get by using the catalyst creator and it didnt contain a tier set bonus, yet you converted it anyway.
Especially if you’re new to a system, I would expect that you read about it first a bit

forums are not a way to skip ticket queue times. forum staff does not deal with in game issues.
well, you live, make mistakes and hopefully learn from them and pay better attention next time.
like Avind said, it shows you into what the outcome is so just pay better attention.
It’s just a mistake, it’s not the end of the world. There are set slots for the tier bonuses (helm, shoulders, chest, hands, legs). You’ve learnt the hard way that that does not include boots. I know it’s annoying but you’ll have another charge next week.
The catalyst does give a preview of what the item is becoming but I don’t think this has been enough for all the players that have been caught out.
Whilst I love that we are going to be able to complete the tier sets this way, it was bound to catch some out.
no i couldnt clearly see it , i had no freaking idea at all , it let me upgrade it so i thought it would give me bonuses

That is what you will get.
Set pieces will show the set bonus.

i didnt know dude this is the first time ever i interacted with that thing ,
i dont buy it.
i just went to the catalyst with my shaman. never used it before on her. didnt have spare boots because its my legendary slot so i used bracers, which cant be tier either.
so, it tells you specifically what pieces can be tiers. and when you hover over the item, it shows you what it turns into.
i dont believe a second “you didnt “clearly” know/see/realise”. its right there.
just admit you made a mistake and that you didnt read or not properly read what the game told you would happen and just jumped to conclusions what you thought would happen.
mistakes happen, thats normal and they suck, but dont take us for a fool.

what are u talking about , it let me make the boots so i did it fast i didnt know it said the info on the other picture i told u , it was a mistake because it let me create the boots and i thought that counted
exactly. you did it fast and did not read what was right there on the display window. you thought it counted, yet they told you it would not. its on you, not the catalyst system. they cant make it more clearer than that.

…you did not know because you clicked too fast. not because the info was not there.
just learn from it to double check before you do something. then mistakes like these would not happen.

It tells you plainly in the FIRST window that pops up when you click the catalyst BEFORE you have even put a piece of gear in to transform you just didn’t read it.
If you checked the item in the box, it didnt show setbonuses. Its your fault. There is even a final conformation before the change.
The problem is that they let you upgrade items that doesnt give bonuses , and when u put such item in , they dont give u a warning for example " this item will not give set bonuses "
No the problem is you didnt read the text on the first window that tells you which piece give bonuses.
what other picture?! its the same info no matter the slot you pick in! you had two times to varify, yet you did not do any of it.

i even used a slot which can be tier to show that there is literally no difference. the game gave you all the info you need, yet you just did not read it because you wanted to get it done quickly. or are you telling me that you magically have different text than everyone else?
im done. the game and myself cant make it anymore clear to you than this.

they did. they told you that only head, shoulder, chest, gloves and legs can be tier pieces. like shown in serveral pictures.
