The catalyst items are predetermined.
Meaning you cant choose the stats yourself, its already decided beforehand.
you can just choose which pieces you can pick since all of them have pre-determined stats.
As for weather they’re from bloody tokens or conquest - the only difference is the item level.
The set item made from the Catalyst retains the PvP ilvl of the item it was made from. Your normal PvE set item wouldn’t have that.
Like people said, the stats are predetermined. So it depends on the set bonus is better for your spec than the versatility you lose.
