I don’t have time to sit in LFR 5h/day trying to convince some pug leaders that I can all the tactics and get laughed at in return because they prefer iLvL over brains any time of the year. Meanwhile some guy with 10 alts is already rocking 4-piece, ready to abuse the disadvantaged 98% of the player base for 3 next weeks. Congrats!!!

Do 8 delves for 3 chances on tier per week. tier 8 for heroic part chance.
Depending on gear yea, ppl will decline for normal/heroic. Thats quite normal.
Can do m+ for higher chance.
Prob to try get tier set to convert to PvP tier set. So he dont have to use catalyst I would assume.

Isnt 1.6k obtainable with like, all 1-5 and 2-4 games in shuffle rn, due to lower MMR rollback?
Still doesn’t make sense as pve gear does not get increased in item level in instanced pvp.
Well seeing how last season went, you’ll be seeing people with 4 piece in ladder soon, 2 being pvp pieces, and the other two a combo of lfr/hc/mythic pieces.
I think the “Conquerors prized lacquer” and “Conquerors prized Varnish” turns PvE pieces into PvP pieces (set only). Or am I wrong? Havent tried it yet. But its info kinda says it do.
The Hero track fully upgraded is like honor PvP ilvl.
Mythic track fully upgraded is like conquest PvP ilvl.
So if you went and did +10 keys and got tier set from vault and upgraded it, its like getting a “free” conqueror set piece x)

@OP now i understand what you meant with pve. If you get lucky you could have 4 set, HOWEVER only 2 of those would be pvp ilvl since next week we will (most likely) get 525 (or w/e the number was) conquest cap which won’t be enough for either of them. Even with the cap of the following week it will not be enough. It will take until week 4 to have full pvp 4set from pve sources. Considering this i assume we will get a catalyst charge every week (at least that would kinda make sense).

You can get honor lvl tier set today, its kinda why he implies the 4set in a way.
If they follow what they usually do, its a catalyst every 2 weeks, so tomorrow there shouldnt be one. If you want full 4 (678) ilvl you can only get that through either getting myth track PvE tier set from m+ vault or mythic raid (highly unlikely). (has to be fully upgraded to be equal)
You can get honor (665) through heroic raids tier set so it would be kinda like just honor gear but it being tier. (has to be fully upgraded to be equal)
So if you want 4 tier set pieces at 678 you need to get lucky in m+ doing 10s and then just wait to catalyst the last one next week. (19th)
So if you REALLY want to min-max PvP in the early stages, doing m10s and pray for vault is one option. I dont know the chances of it being tier or not though. All depends on luck since theres just alot of items.
Mythic raiding is another option, but not likely at a start of a season.
But for majority of ppl, I would just say dont bother unless you actually enjoy PvE aswell.

this is in a single target pve fight with 99.7% uptime, keep in mind in pvp it gets reduced by 50% + it will be even lower cuz the crit multiplier in pve is 2.0 and in pvp 1.5 (150%)
so even for top leaderboard the different wont be noticeable, and some 4set upgrades are worse than having full sockets in your gear with is a dmg difference of 2-3.75% depends on the class
On my MW the 2 set does arround 0.5%and 1.5% healing, the 4 set not sound that much better and you get the worst stats possible
For me i dont think there is any different having a set or not

Or some ppl might just want to test it out with honor equal tier set first. ^^

Haha. Top affliction players with 4-set on the ladder enjoying the benefits, while for everyone else looking forward to next week blizz made sure to nerf the bonus. Brilliant move.
