Catchup bullions on boosted alt?

Hello,
I just boosted an alt lvl 70 and I am not receiving any bullions from LFR. Is there a lockout for boosted alts or alts in general that are unable to earn more bullions than 2? I thought that I am able to catchup on the 16 available bullions on an alt now. Why is this not possible?

Ther is no lockout or barrier, any 70 can get boullion. However

  1. Boullion is not a guaranteed drop. This has been confirmed numerous times over the course of the season, and was actually the go to answer on tickets in week 13 where the drop was bugged but CS was not yet informed of the issue.
  2. the higher the difficulty, the more likely they are to drop.

And as you probably have already experienced with your rating, they can also drop in M+.

The Solution is therefore: just keep running content, preferably higher than a faceroll level. That said if you clear all 3 awakened LFRs, it´s close to (but not entirely) impossible not to get at least a handful. :beers:

I will try again today. I hope bullions start dropping. I want to gear my alt.
