Catchup system is not letting me catch up, only makes me poor :)

So I have BS on my pala and today I get 2 crafting order which both give me 2 KP.

Funny thing is one of them is Beledar’s Bulwark where I have to supply ALL mats except the spark (that bliz slapping you in the face) so yeap gonna skip that one.

The next one is Everforged Dagger, where AGAIN I have to supply all the mats except the spark and make it rank 3 with concentration, like hahaha, I am not gonna pay thousands of gold for mats to get 2 catchup points.

I guess I won’t be catching up much this week then.

This system needs tuning or is it just me?

It’s a catchup system.
If it were easy, nobody would do it the normal way.

It’s not a catchup system though. The “Patreon orders” are where you’re supposed to get most of your KP.
And then it requires you to supply most (or at least the most expensive) mats yourself.

It’s catchup too.
I think the 2kp are the regular ones, the 1kp the catchup.

ignore those crafts really, having done them in the past, I feel like the last two weeks was blizzard testing the water. In the beginning of the expac they had a week where they put all these KP’s on epic crafts but hardly anyone was picking them up and suddenly for weeks the 2kp items ended up on a ton of easy to craft ones.

After yesterday there seem to now be new patron orders which put a lot of the 2kp’s on easy crafts that at most need a core alloy or 2 for me atleast on blacksmithing. I feel like they were testing the waters to see how willing people were to spend their own rarer materials and alloys

I’ll be honest man ironclaw takes up way too much ore to craft for me to even consider it as an option when a patron order demands it, I have a harder time finding enough bismuth to create ironclaw alloys then I have finding tinderboxes to make sanctified alloys, their rarity’s should be switched up.

Always do the easy ones, never do the hard ones (or you will become an arguement that putting the KP behind insanely expansive crafts is a good idea actually. Yes, that’s how they tend to look at their statistics, remember, engagement is more important then fun experienced)

I currently have 6 patron orders on my BS alt, order fulfillment costs are in the range of 11.500-17.500 gold and my alt is 81 knowledge behind the maximum possible.Sanctified Alloys is the main cause of the extreme and absurd costs, let the patron pay for it.
