Priest tier set should have been the paladin tier set why do they have the divine right to get those cool looking wings ?

You cryladins really shouldn’t cry for every single thing in this game. There is nothing wrong with priest set, it looks like a priest set not a cryladin set.
They get rework on their talent tree only by crying and now they openly requesting an other class’ set.
Blizzard needs to put a stop to this waywardness.

It looks like a paladin tier set. And many of my friends thought it was the paladin tier set hence the name of this post catfished by tier set.
Don’t think it looks anything like a Paladin to be honest.
Have you actually looked at the real Paladin set? That’s what a Paladin looks like.

Tldr: It’s challenge to make Paladin and Priest tier sets. Thematically they are difficult. And their themes overlap a lot.
There was a subsequent artist explanation – also years ago – about the desire to thematically distinguish the two classes a bit more in their sets (I won’t try to dig it up). So Priests would focus more on wings and halos, and Paladins would focus more on tomes and seals in their appearance, instead of having the constant trade of “Who gets to have the wings or tomes this time?”
Evidently Blizzard haven’t managed to distinguish the themes too much yet, because Paladins seemingly want this Priest set!
And sometimes they still overlap and exchange themes and Paladins get wings and Priests get tomes.
And it makes sense to some degree. In terms of lore and story a Paladin is essentially a Priest trained as a Warrior, so the thematic similarity reflects the likeness of a Monk versus a Templar knight.
But thematically I think Blizzard would like Priests to be the ones with wings and halos, and Paladins the ones with tomes and seals.
Those are harder themes to pull off than spikes and skulls for Death Knights, but that’s the way it is.
Many of our sets are better than those of pallies…

Anyways… I’ll have something different mogged anyways. Most new transmogs, while good in quality, don’t appeal my tastes. I prefer the old tier sets, especially as they are much easier to obtain 
Why are you complaining?
Just look at Anduin in the BFA trailer: you think he’s a paladin due to his armor, but in fact he’s a priest.

I was talking about the armor, not the spec.
I just ment on the rework front, priest technically got more love as a class then paladin.
on a serious note however, i am a fan that paladins get a Robe and Priests are getting pants, its been a long time since we’ve seen Sets look this different.
Paladin players have to be the most whiny players of all…
