CCs ruin my visual cues

I got a big freaking thing in the middle of my screen telling me im S T U N N E D.
I dont need all of my spells to go black, i need to see my cooldowns Blizzard!
How do I turn this off or is there an addon for that ?

I’m sure you can turn it off in interface pannel

And for cds there is also an option for it to show you the exact seconds remaining of your cd to come back up.

not gonna lie when i saw “cc ruins my…” for sec i thought it was another great from stan but now i am bit dissapoint

I like the middle screen thing what i dont want is my action bars going black.

I have that, i want to remove the stun blacking out my spells entirely for better visual cues.

i use bartender4 for action bars, it doesnt do any blacked out

I think you can turn if off. It was in one of the free Skill-Capped ui videos. Check it on youtube

I have the same problem. It’s very bad UI to hide your defensive CDs during CC, because usually you want to know what you have available when you get out of a stun.

The way I have solved the problem is solid, but requires a lot of work:

  • I have hidden all my default blizzard bars (the main bar cannot be hidden, but I’ve made it smaller and moved it to the side)
  • I have created WeakAuras groups with all my abilities (offensive/defensive/CC) that look a lot like the action bars, and I’ve set them up to look like the blizz ones (f.e. I’ve set them up to show the GCD spiral when I press other abilities, show procs, etc.) and I’ve styled them with masque to look clean.

Thus, I can see all my abilities even when CCed. But yeah, it’s a lot of work :frowning: You basically have to recreate the whole blizzard bars yourself.

These are all weakauras.

I usually play with 4 action bars visible - one in the middle and 3 at the bottom. That’s why I’ve simulated it with weakauras to look similar.

Most of the WAs I’ve created myself, some I’ve copied from wago (the more complex ones f.e. to show kill shot procs on kill shot, or lock and load procs on aimed shot).

Maybe it’s an overkill, but the loss of CC spiral on abilities was such a huge issue for me, that I resorted to this solution

Edit: If you want, you can style them to look exactly like the blizzard bars, and have 100% parity in terms of visuals, depends on how commited you are :smiley:
