Ok so , there is a person who is getting paid in Activision , working on mounts for Shop etc.
So this random boy/girl , said :
ââHEY GUYS I HAVE THE BEST IDEA FOR A 15YO ANNIVERSARY SHOP MOUNT!LETS GIVE A RECOLOR OF THESE 2 , IT WILL TAKE AROUND 25-30 SECONDS TO APPLY A WHITE FILTER AND WEâLL SELL IT FOR 25 DOLLARSââ
And then , the people around him agreed without firing him from the company.

I just love the âShared Across Charactersâ picture they have in the store for this mount XD.
If your horde, the mount will be shared to your other horde toons, like orcs and gnomes.
If your alliance, the mount will be shared to your other alliance toons, like a panda or goblin.
XD
Nevertheless, i think its a cool looking mount, its a iconic flying mount for each side (well, when ppl use FP atleast, since we didnt had flying in vanila), still, they are what i will call iconic mounts for thier faction.
Sure we have a colored (and cooler) skin for them, if you ever did the pandaria quest line, still, this âstone-formâ take on them is cool in its own way.

Weâve had in no particular order;
The Sylverian Dreamer.
The Vulpine Familiar.
Hogrus.
The Dreadwake whereupon they initially relied on a six month fee.
And now these.
Not to mention the pets and during Christmas they also did a very sketchy artificial scarcity deal by removing certain mounts, pets and items from the store only to add in the fine print they might return later, all this to forcefully incite sales.
You honestly donât think that in less than a year of BFA being out that 5 store mounts are ridiculous?

You donât have to? Itâs a store. You buy what you want and leave the rest be.
Itâs not like I feel obligated to buy the entire supermarket in my neighborhood whenever I am short on milk. 
No, like I said, it seems in-line with the frequency of additions weâve had in past expansions.

No it does not. We had two store mounts over the course of Legion and three during WoD. They stopped releasing them for a while because after the third one in WoD they were facing too much backlash which appears to gradually be returning againâŠ

We had all this in the time frame of TBC to Wod / legion
And thatâs not even talking about toys and pets
So blizzard is justified for adding all these unique store mounts because they did it the previous expansion aswell?

Iâll stand corrected then. Still doesnât bother me. Iâve gotten the Fox mount so far, because I thought it was pretty. The rest I didnât care about, so I didnât buy them. Simple approach. It works. Try it.
because mounts are worthless. 99% of mounts are simple RNG so even tho some mounts are really dope looking theres nothing special about them cause sooner or later most people will have them.
people who farm mounts 24/7 should honestly rethink their priorities
Itâs Blizzardâs game. Theyâre justified in doing whatever they want with their own game.

I still use my hellfire raid wolf , since it reminds me of the time I did it with a mate. We did it blind and it was lots of fun.
And I have hundreds of mounts with such memories.
If you just see them as numbers thatâs your problem

Store moutns are not the only thing that comes out for anniversary.
There will be a raid with past bosses that rewards a Deathwing mount.
There will be old AV battleground that award new HD versions for Stormpike Ram and Frostwolf Wolf mounts.
Those store mounts allow to get those CE mounts for people that want them but werenât able to get the CE because it sold in seconds. Itâs just like digital deluxe version.

Yea sure, blizzard can do what they want with their product. Just donât expect the consumers to keep using their product if theyâre in disagreement.

On principle alone itâs a fact that games that require both a one-time annual fee and most importantly a monthly subscription fee shouldnât have microtransactions in it. These practices should not be enabled.
Of course the store is never going away though and I know this. I just think they need to chill with these store mounts. Five in less than a year is nuts, and the dislikes on Youtube are there to show for it.

I donât think Blizzard expects that. Iâm sure they have some business-savvy people doing a cost/benefit analysis on these things.
But hey, if you donât like it, then you can always vote with your wallet andâŠoh, waitâŠyouâre sticking around for ClassicâŠright. Clever Blizzard.
