Celestial Dungeons are way too easy

Hello,

I feel like Celestial Dungeons are way too easy. It’s even easier than normal HC, there is no challenge at all. My last group a healer and a tank could pull the half dungeon without an issue. The buffs u get are way too OP. U should add something similar as on retail to make it harder and go to +2 +5 or whatever, maybe with additional rewards/achievements or better gear. I know classic players probably like it but I just don’t want to PVE dying soon.

Its good that its easy - I find it very cool that I can have 1.3 Million health on my Blood DK and do crazy damage with vengeance.

That way its alt-friendly and enjoyable.

Twilight dungeons were a cancer if you played with 1-2 not so experienced people.

The only 2 things I can mention here are that the Caster buff is way stronger than the Melee buff AND most importantly the 10 stones to send to alts isn’t in yet which was advertised!

They are supposed to be easy since their main purpose is for people to get catch-up gear on their alts.

Its not too easy.
You are too good.
You should try retail and go for +18 keys.

blizz shills who hate lfr bc “too easy” and “casuals shouldn’t get gear” love celestials for some reason

As 476 Tank i feel like celestial dungeons are just regular dungeons with flashy lights

Well, yes. Celestials (according to Blues) were explicitly tuned for item level 435-450. They are a drop-in replacement for regular heroics. They’re not meant to be hard.

  • Celestial Dungeons can only be entered by using the automated Group Finder tool, and they require a minimum item level of 435 to queue, the same as Heroic dungeons.
  • *Developers’ notes: To get the intended difficulty experience, we’d appreciate your feedback running Celestial Dungeons with the Mists of Pandaria Classic Level 90 character templates.

It’s meant to be trivially puggable and only serves to give you better rewards so 5-man queues don’t die three weeks into the expansion. They are regular dungeons with flashy lights, yes. As they should be.

In the 2010s the devs listened to the 3% of the vocal tryhards and pushed for harder content which was in my opinion the single biggest developmental mistake in the history of WoW.

I hope modern devs do not choose to walk down this path again.

And doing every celestial dungeons for two days and getting no legendary quest drop “Sigil”. Great. I’m forced to do normal raid. Since lfr is not there. I hate this celestial dungeon. Nothing hard and no bloody sigil drop. What’s the point of doing it?

well i did 2 weeks of hc raids, and we had like couple of them per 25 ppl per full raid, i think it’s drop rate in general that kinda sus

You need to loot the boss in the raid or endboss in celestial dungeon to get it.

I am pretty sure everyone got them if one guy got them. On every raid kill and dungeon boss kill it was like that. Make sure to loot it.

You will have way too many sigils in the end

just wait until you get a BAD group, when people start dying on boss fights it slows things down dramatically

Tbh the thing i really would like to see is for CMs to give more valor than random heroic dungeon, to balance effort/reward a bit

Yeah. Getting CMs on even ground with RHC/Celestial in terms of Valor and maybe a subset of August Stone rewards is how you solve this. The ‘challenging’ dungeon type is pointless after you collect all Golds on a character when it could be just as replayable as Celestial. There’s an open GitHub suggestion for this.

Then you pick according to what you feel on the day. Which is pretty appropriate for Classic.

36 dungeons done. Looted all bosses. No sigil. Funny game. Lfr gone. Forced to spam this filthy celestial dungeons. I refuse to do elitist 25man. 99% gdkp rest a run by people who say no to invite to anyone below 475. Fun game to be sure.

Well at this point you’d do 3 lfr bosses, get 0 sigils as well and call it a week

You know you can just setup your own raids. If you want lfr experience just invite whitout any requirement think If you stack fesh dinged lvl90’s you get closest lfr. Not sure but i would go thaat

Sigils only drop from the last boss in celestial dungeons. Seem to be around 25% drop rate judging from how many I got for the amount I did to get all items I wanted for my main spec.

They are easy with sentient human beings but solo queueing into god knows what irani/dad gamer/ etc and you are in a dungeon for 20+ minutes.

I’ll try that then  I know all the strat. Just the loot stuff. Guess I have to make someone else loot master.
