i think its a huge miss to not bring them back whit the new pandaria event.
Its a loss both for new players and old , its been 10 years to so called prestige is gone.

Old MOP removed content should come back, even if its with different rewards. But Blizzard is so lazy putting the incomplete version of MOP we have in Retail.
I mean they could just do it for M+ its virtually the same, if anything it was the original building blocks for M+. All we get is a shoddy recoloured mount, title and portals as it is.
Yeah, not gonna happen. There was that discussion with mage tower and blizzard drew the line at unique skeletons for forms. It was the only thing that they felt appropriate to provide an alternative to removed content.
While I will hold my opinion to myself for if that is right or wrong, humor me abit for trying to play devil’s advocate.
From blizzard’s PoV, their game is based on subscription, and want to offer a reason for players to keep being subscribed to the game (instead of playing for 2-3 months, and taking a break for half a year).
With that model, if they go back and return unobtainable rewards, that would indicate that no reward would be “safe” from being brought back.
What seems more logical for them to do (from my pov), would be to see what challenge sets were received well, make new ones based on them, or recolor/remodel them, and introduce those as limited time rewards. (at least this would be what I would like to hear if I was investor having shares).
That has nothing to do with this topic. We are discussing here if CM should return. Not about the original rewards. The rewards could be bronze coins anyway, given that eveything in the Remix will give those coins.
No, thanks. That would actually force me to play this thing and I hate Pandaria enough to be grateful for the lack of stimuli to experience it again.
CM dungeons were the same, just tuned abit higher with a timer tied to them.
I mean sure, they could spend like 20 minutes to do that, but how many people want specifically that.
If they give bronze coins for doing CM then everyone will want to to it. It makes sense given that everything in MOP will give coins so if they add CM they should give more coins than doing heroic dungeons.
What can they do that the current M+ system cannot do?
idk reward perhaps???i got 2500 rio this season stop because guess what there´s no incentive to continue. i got a bad mount and rainbows on my shoulders.
So they could add moroe reward to M+ then.

Problem is they can’t just put in the original CM set as a reward from m+ in retail because it does not have all the classes. It’s far too low ress for it to feel like a proper reward.
(although I personally would not mind)
Doing it in remix would make a lot more sense, and they would not need to create brand-new sets for the missing classes. Nor would they have to bring up the texture quality of the old sets to better suit the retail texture quality.
Although having a unique complete not that half-baked trading post class set that is just helm shoulder and belt class set as a reward from doing let’s say all 20s, or I guess all 10s come s4 would be really nice, but I doubt blizz would even put in that level of effort

I mean CM and M+ are essentially the same in concept, M+ is just evolved CM there is just no reward structure for pushing your rating up and the CM style reward structure is perfect for that. 1.5k rating is bronze 2.5k is silver and 3k is gold.
They just can’t use that naming scheme cause the snowflakes would get upset, so just a raw score is better for the modern game
And why is that an issue, really it’s such a shame letting the CM items rot in the void, and they deserve to come back in some way at this point.
It’s been over a decade, and it would give the art team a chance to make new future class sets if they bring back the CM reward structure.
I would love to see what they can pull off, making brand new complete sets themed around the class and class only
