Hello,
So the main reason Iam doing this post is the frustration I experienced while raid leading a group for Blackfathom Deeps.
We had 5th boss on the raid down at 5% and everyone alive, would probably end up with a kill. Suddenly servers go down, for hours. I logged in next day, dead and alone with my raid ID locked. I tried to find people I was playing the night before to finish the run, but was unable to find more than few. So I had to find new people which is extremly hard because people with fresh IDs who would join only for few bosses are usually not geared and not prepared, they are impatient and are not afraid to leave after 1/2 wipes. Meanwhile I found a lot of people who killed the same bosses I did, but they are unable to enter my raid. Why? Why are we forced to play like this.
Itâs not vanilla anymore, It is season of discovery , classic+
I would like to be able to raid with whoever I want or need. I want to be independent from a person who decides to leave during my raid, for whatever reason.
The point of the post: I know that there are MANY people out there who feel the same. I hope you will find this post and pledge Your support to this right cause. Only together we can make this change.
Please share Your unpleasant experience with current Raid IDs and help us enforce the change.

I just searched for some post about this problem, this is 100 % a problem for all the community and itâs strange there is no more posts or replies about this. It seems very bad, for a classic + there is so much things that arenât a player friendly experience and that is very sad.
Maybe they keep the Raid ID like this to prevent boosting services? Iâm not sure if itâs a good enough reason but still something to be considered I guess.

Yeah happend to me on my first BFD aswell.
Boss 1-5 was butter smooth and then 2 wipes and some left.
Thought I could join another 5/7 raid but to my surprise, everyone in the new party could go into the raid portal except me xD

Your frustration with the current Raid ID system is understandable, and itâs clear that it impacts the raiding experience for many players. Sharing your experiences and concerns, as youâve done, is an important step in bringing attention to the issues youâve encountered.
Consider voicing your thoughts on official forums or community platforms dedicated to the game. Engaging in discussions with fellow players and expressing a collective desire for improvements may increase the chances of the developers taking notice and considering adjustments to the Raid ID system.
Your input, along with that of other players who share similar sentiments, can be influential in shaping the future direction of the game. Good luck in bringing attention to your cause!

Is this some chatGPT replies for fun or? Have seen a couple of these from you, new kind of trolling or what? *shrug*
About raid ID, this is one of the things that Retail have it better (which I usually do not dare to say), they should make it like in Retail, where u have boss lockout instead of raid lockout, also u can participate in locked boss fights but u wonât get any loot. This creates opportunities for boosting, but Retail has dynamic loot distribution on boss kill, so that:
- if you have 9/10 people saved u have 20% of getting 1 piece of loot
- if you have 5/10 people saved u have 100% of getting 1 piece of loot and 0% on 2
- if you have 2/10 people saved u have 100% of getting 1 piece of loot and 60% on 2
- if you have 0/10 people saved u have 100% of getting 2 pieces of loot
Thatâs approximately how retail stuff works against boosting.
Just report them as trolling, ez
