And we already had her and sylvanas. Yrel is likely going to be a light baddie in the future.
And dont forget blizz its way to make baddies is pretty much making some exising character go insane and become powerhungry out of nowhere. Do you really want existnng female lore figures be ruined like that. With blizz its recent cencoring streak the female boss likely will be cencored into wearing a burka or being a fruitbwl anyway. Because they wish to protect females from having bad images from dressing or behaving indecent
Azhara though can pretty much only be ruined by suddenly becoming a good guy. And our ally all along.
She’s been insane from her inception into the lore and all. And a well planted villain unlike certain warchiefs and other Lore characters used to make new big bads.

You’re basically saying Blizz doesn’t know how to write a “good” final boss of an expansion female sex villain here.

It can also be viewed that Blizzard doesn’t think that a female sex boss could carry an expansion(which implies that they’re sexist towards females). Prove us wrong Blizz, maybe?
They weren’t the final boss of the expac though.
Patch bosses are stepping stones to the final one of the expac.

yep, because they cant. They are too busy cencoring and covering up females with clothes or replacing them with fruitbowls.
And dont forget, females dont exist anymore in wow. Its just body type 1 and 2. Females dont fit their social agenda wich they are putting into the game

It works both ways though, if they don’t make a female end boss, they’re basically admitting that they do not think that the female sex can carry an expansion.
Nah, body type 1 and 2 is more related to physical characteristics of the character creation.
Approximately half the world has those characteristics of the female sex and approximately half has the other characteristics of the male sex.
I’m talking about the female sex, which is a biological end point of the human life form and its physical characteristics, not anything else.
Can be, but the Void will have 99% of its characters most likely new… unless the books about it were written already.
But the thing is you know… We have a fans clashing with the writers conflict happening here.
World of warcraft as an mmo is a on going story… But to allot of fans. They see it very differently. They wont accept any new main big bads. Unless they are written on pre existing characters or lore from before?
To me that goes against everything i wrote above. That mindset, That every new big bad and villain has to have some merit and pre existing lore. To be ‘‘worthy’’ to even be a villain first to begin with.
Because Warcraft isn’t a finished story. Its an ongoing one… And we have yet to discover our next villains and threats to azeroth and its people.
I am all for blizzard writing new original characters. Male or female alike…
But you’d be surprised how much resistance that sort of sentiment has got around these forums before. If the new main big bad isn’t from an existing lore. Or character alike.
well to be fair, shadowlands “proved” them this was true. Not even the sylvanas simps could stomach shadowlands.
Sure its a problem blizz made themselves due to the expansion and story being terrible. But that is irrelevant to big companies.
Its the same way ea reacted to command and conquer 4 selling badly. It sold badly? surely people just dont like rts games anymore. Its totally not because we butchered everything fans loved about the franchise wich made people not like it
The Void and Light sides are definitely upcoming and they will need new characters coming with them, there’s no choice here.
Sure the 1st expac based on those could have Azshara(void) and Yrel (light), but that would just be the advance party.
What’s behind those, the real big bads(or goods), are unwritten.
I just got to this part reading it, but basically yes, we will have new characters. If they don’t have any female sex last bosses for an expansion, then it starts to get questionable.
Because people are letting themselves get dragged into new-age political crap.
Also for anyone actually reading, i’m talking about the sex of the boss, not anything else, biological sex.
Shadowlands was boring writing, the final boss was written poorly, that’s it.
Sylvanas was an actual “servant” of the Jailer… even though she tried to deny it, it was like that. That was messed up, at least own up to your actions and admit you’re just a puppet. lol
The Jailer wasn’t bad because he was new, he was bad because he wasn’t interesting, his “motives” are still… unknown (as in not specific).
Probably that part of the story they left open and said that they’ll fill in later “what is to come”.
And let’s be hones, they cut a raid tier short. Anduin should have had that raid tier and next one was the Jailer, they didn’t have time, that’s it.
Unfinished expansion was unfinished…
If all we’ll have as expectations of their writing is half-baked villains forever, then there’s no point in discussing anything related further.
But i don’t think that’s the case, so i’m expecting(or at least hoping) to have a badass female sex boss as the mastermind behind an expansion eventually.

Yep but like i said despite this being a problem caused by blizz their marketing team will write it off as people did not like the baddies.
And lets be honest sylvanas was the main bad guy of the expansion because of how terrible the expansion and the bald nipple guy were written.Bald nipple guy did not even make many appearances
Bad writing over bad writing, that’s it.
I don’t think it has any relevance to the fact that she was not the female sex last boss of the expansion.
If they did not involve the Jailer and focused on fleshing out Sylvanas properly and solidify her as the final boss, they would have done a much better job in making sure the writing would have been half-decent.
But they didn’t… so besides the bad writing we also had the covenant systems which were crap as it was hard to switch, conduit energy, slow anima grind and whatever else i blocked from my memory about the expac.
Was not enjoyable in that sense.
If i could i’d delete the xpac and just keep the faction mogs, like the venthyr, necro and kyrian ones (especially the dark wings one!).
