Yesterday i decided i wanted to go Venthyr on my main. I completed the weekly renown quest including 3 daily quests in revendreth.
When i went to change i got my covenant abilities and everything stopped there. The game told me to complete a quest “A Call to Service” I can’t find that anywhere where it should be. So i tried googling it, wowheading it and checked reddit. I found out that i should complete “A Calling in Revendreth”, which i did just before changing covenant. I can’t take any callings, i dont have a ny soulbinds, atm i have 8 renown. Nothing more. Cant continue the campaign quests because i’m phased out. Tried making a ticket, where i got an “automated” respons and i believe 15 hrs or so later im still where i started.
I have the exact same problem stuck without a soulbind, no callings and no way to progress the campaign. Opened a ticket on in yesterday, but no reply yet.
So i got a GM to whisper me but to no use. He said "Howdy , this is game master Sallircal, do you have a moment for a quick chat?
I instantly wrote yeah but the respons i got was an automated one.
"This GM is unavailable for chat. If the Open Ticket icon is present, please do not close or edit your petition. If the Icon is not present and you require additional assistance, please open a new ticket. Thank you.
Man i would love to have live chat with gm’s back. This is useless.
Yesterday i was in OP situation, on " A calling for revendreth "
So i spammed battleground and i hitted like renown catch up 8
The next day it changed, it was " Common grounds ", and i got the calling for revendreth for 3 world quest in Revendreth ( and it’s named " A calling in Revendreth).
But i was even more surprise :
If you go to Charred rampant ( where the dredger are for the cart World Quest), when you go near the elevator, you can find General Draven Giving you the quest " The Princeguard "
So i finished my 3 world quest in revendreth, after that you do the guide for where you take your dailies of soul in the maw and about how to spend annima.
Then Renathal teleport and give you the quest " Commom Ground ".
So you can wait for "The Princeguard " quest so you can do “Common Ground” and "The Princeguard " together at once
This can be an unfortunate side-effect from switching to the Venthyr covenant. We’re aware of this issue and a solution should be implemented in a future patch of the game. The issue can sometimes be resolved by making sure you meet the requirements per this support article: Renathal Missing for Venthyr Quest “Common Ground”.
Should these not fix your phasing issues then please submit a ticket to let a Game Master have a direct look.
Can you please elaborate on how to open a ticket for such an ingame bug? When you go for that it always shows you the same automated problems many people have but you cannot open a ticket.
You don’t report bugs by ticket, as GM’s cannot do anything with bug reports, and it just wastes their time, as they have to respond to every ticket they get.
You use the bug reporting tool instead. Which sends the report directly to the developers, and not a GM.
There isn’t anything particularly useful to classify this so I would suggest https://eu.battle.net/support/en/help/product/wow/181/187/solution Explain clearly what the problem is and link the blue post in the thread telling you to ticket. (you probably know how to do that but, if not, click on the timestamp of the blue post - 4d currently - and then save the url.)
I’ve got the same problem as well. I can’t see the quest giver for the quest “Common Ground”. Been looking all over the place to find a way to report a bug/make a ticket, but all I got was the same info with the requirements to get the quest to work and a link to the US forums to submit the bug.
Found this on another forum, that fixed it for me:
“You need to complete the calling to complete 3 quests in Revendreth and then it will all become available! They should really make that quest highlighted like the rest of the main ones”
If you still feel your character is bugged, there is a possibility it might be, please do contact Customer Support ingame as it can be checked if there are any issues with the character. We have had a few bugs previously with the Venthyr swap, but most should have been resolved in the patch.
