Changes to Destro Warlocks rain of fire

So in the recent dataminded PTR 11.1 we found out wthat we will no longer be able to choose as to were we put our ROF, but instead will only be fire at our targets location.

This is an awful change and if the devs are intending to keep it.
It wasnt enough that there is no visual for people to know were our ROFs are at but now we cant put them up ahead of group of mobs. (This is done alot in m+ when movement is needed)
This change will prob kill destro in m+ unless they add an option for both casting ROF at the targets location or a choosen location by the player (This is an option for Shadow priests with thier ability “Shadow crash”

I can understand that they want to make playing the spec easier but in doing so they are forcing us to play in a specific way and making it harder for the players who want to play a lite more “hardcore”

You absolutely misread that one.

• Rain of Fire is now a choice node that can be used to change the targeting from reticle to your current target.

The key terms here is CHOICE NODE - you will be able to choose a Rain of Fire that works like it does now, or a version that is cast on the target - same as Elemental Shaman’s Earthquake.
