A lot of people here claim that racials are the main reason for horde overpopulation, this is bollocks.
People play horde for so many different reasons and changing some racials will not magically reverse the population ratios. I played alliance for a while in classic and there’s no snowball’s chance in hell I’m going back, I’d rather have 2h queues… The main problem for people who play PVP myself included is the fact that Alliance is just too soft, played by people that would rather flee or turn the other cheek rather than fight back. In classic I played on a server that was alliance dominated and yet Horde still controlled the open world in P2. Allies that passed by and saw you being attacked by a hordie just moved on and didn’t give a damn about helping you. Hordies, on the other hand, will almost always help you destroy your opponent, it feels like real brotherhood and there’s a sense of comradery, a sense that your peers will always have your back.
I’d rather keep that than faction change to a faction full of victims that can’t make a stand, you guys are like Velen, we’re like Illidan. See you at the summoning stone.
I think you find at least 20% of the horde have re-rolled from alliance including yourself fotm rerollers I guess the soft ones are the ones that need to roll the larger pop faction or for the racials.
Both factions are the same players I’ve seen horde run past many times when I’ve been fighting and rarely get attacked 1v1 so your opinion isn’t limited to one side.
This post is cringe, and not true. People play horde for the racials lets be honest, and most of the people doing the ganking are undead rogues. Now with paladins on both factions there is no reason for even pvers to play ally
you’re delusional if you think improving racials will reverse a 13 year old trend, and even if it did, you’d need another 10 years for realm populations to balance out, even with free factions transfers

Do you think that the two hour queue is a bigger issue than faction balance? be funny if they added warmode instead as an inventive to play Alliance horde will still QQ about queue times and alliance can turn off the ganking or have ganking on with increased rewards, your right changing racials now will have little effect unless you add something op like every man for himself then you will see the increase in humans liking humans because of the dancing animation
Yes it is. 2h queues make half the playerbase unable to play the game, imagine the number of in-game feedback tickets they’re getting given the fact that most threads on this forum are dominated by people crying about prohibitively long queues.
Blizzard will act and my bet in on horde-horde bgs because they literally hurt no one and solve the entire issue once and for all. Some alliance crybabies will turn up once it gets implemented but they will disappear soon enough.
Warmade will never be added because you’ve got the ability to transfer to a PvE realm and half the people would move back to priv servers if they added it.
They should have fixed the racials before the launch, now it’s too late and the only solution is give free migrations (only from horde to ally) and even then it wouldn’t solve it at this point…

So the solution is to add paid transfers from horde to alliance as players will move to priv servers if they add Merc mode or horde/horde.
Blizzard will not change the game killing an entire faction because of some horde PvP cry babies you do know that pure pvpers are a minority playerbase as it mostly consist of PvE focused players on both factions.
It’s not unplayable you can get a bg if you just wait your turn just the same as an alliance can do a dungeon or quest if they corpse run for 2 hours.
Alot people put in feedback for alot of retail features like duel spec etc I don’t see them add any of that soon too.
It’s funny that you portray the addition of same-faction bgs as something that would kill the entire alliance faction, lol.
There’s literally zero evidence it would even remotely contribute to exodus of alliance players, you’re just fear-mongering to maintain status quo.
Same faction BGs = horde is happy because they can obtain PVP gear in a timely manner, it doesn’t affect alliance in any shape or form.
Alternatively just let people buy the PVP gear for gold and not honour, that way everyone is happy because PVPers can play area AND queue times go down substantially since most hordies play bgs to get arena-ready gear.
It does effect us every day the faction imbalance effects us in every aspect of the game apart from the queue system it would be an exodus of alliance players because why be stuck on a minority faction where you get outnumbered everywhere and struggle to find groups when you can roll horde for ez racials, population and now quick queues to get PvP quickly so you can gank the remaining alliance even easier

As I said, changes are inevitable, Blizzard won’t allow indefinite 2h queues regardless of your opinion. Horde vs. horde or pvp items for gold are a matter of time and will come sooner rather than later
Or they do nothing and some people re-roll to reduce queue times, stop asking blizzard to fix player created issues whats next someone ganked me so I can ask blizzard for Martin’s fury so I can instantly kill everyone within 30 yards. I can’t find a tank or healer so please give rogues healing abilities and a sheild. Just because you cry doesn’t mean the game should be altered to suit yourself.
you can’t be serious if you expect 20% of playerbase to reroll and commit another 2 months of their lives to level up alliance characters. This will never happen and so it’s irrelevant whether it’s a player-created problem or not, the only thing that matters is that it’s a problem and a major one that affects more than half of the playerbase. Changes are imminent.
