Chaos Magic =/= Fel Magic

Chaos magic has been for a long time since WC3 regarded separate from Fel magic, being a combination of all magical sources (Unable to be blocked by any shield), but Blizzard seems to change their stance on the fundamentals of magic faster than their socks. If Blizzard could get some sort of sense into these things, that would be great in my opinion.

Is this still, or is it not the case?

Also, Immolate and chaos bolt still have separate lockouts as an example, though they are game mechanics, they are informed by the lore. If they weren’t we’d be shooting water bolts instead.

Example B. If Fel was Chaos, and was able to be blocked, why is the Prime Naaru dead? One of the most powerful beings in the universe who could see the future and past.

Example C. https:// wow.gamepedia. com/Setesh uses multiple chaos spells with special effects

I think this would be pretty important question in terms of lore and knowing how magic actually works in the universe.

If anything, the Fel seems to be a side product of chaos.

Well, it seems that it is the same:

That would then mean that some previous stuff needs a serious inspection and warlock and DH classes need an overhaul.

Also I will bump this up :stuck_out_tongue:

The damage type system of WoW, let alone WC3, predates the modern magic system introduced in Chronicles.

I should also notice that in WC3, most units got Chaos damage due to the Legion’s influence (Grom, Illidan)
