Character animations permanently bugged-sliding

I’ve tried creating a ticket but it’s impossible to create them anymore apparently (the system forces you to choose some preexisting issue and there is never a submit button for an in-game Character problem)

For at least a year now (I did not care before because I was only playing classic) I am having an issue with character animations.
I am sliding sideways/backwards constantly, turning is done in sharp jittering steps, it looks completely scuffed.
Other players look scuffed in the same way for me. This is permanent.
Also when I get onto some mounts during quests, the jittering is nauseating, the whole screen shakes.

I tried repairing the game, changing all graphics options and nothing seems to help. This does not happen in Classic.

It’s really frustrating. Have you heard of this or similar problems? Is there a solution?

An interesting update - this issue no longer happens (for the most part) in the open world. It only triggers when I enter instances like arena. My character immediately bugs out and begins sliding sideways or jitters when turning (chat bubbles also jitter when moving). Same happens to arena opponents, I can’t even sometimes tell if someone is facing me or not.

In a last ditch effort, I hard reset all cVars to default. Issue seems to be gone :o
