Character appearance change

No. Retail has completely different gameplay.

Notice that word? ‘gameplay’. Look it up in a dictionary. Someone paying to change their haircut does not affect your gameplay.

‘go back to retailz lulz’ has got to be the most lazy and overused post in this forum. At least come up with a good argument as to why someone shouldn’t be able to pay to change their haircut. Oh wait, you can’t.

Today I saw several posts asking for
a) Paid Name Change
b) Paid Appearance Change
c) Paid Server Change
d) LFG Option
… if Blizzard starts listening to all these pleads we know where it will eventually lead… and there already exist such game. We already have one Cosmetics of Mountcraft, we don’t need another one.

Barbershop is the only feature that wouldn’t have a great impact. However, name change and transmog would change the ethos of classic.

Why would you want it? All characters are as ugly as hell, low poligon, low resolution, pixilated, hairs are like glued, blinking action is just swapping between 2 pictures of the eyes. Why would you even care? Just relax and forget it, look around you and you’ll see that none cares. It’s not about outlook cause all the gear you will get allso looks as poore and idiotic, and like drown on your char, literally, as it could be. I mean whole game might be immersive, but engine that it is made on is completely outdated, old and… well… old… xD

There is this addon called morph where you can change the model of your char however you like. It is only client side so only you see the changes though. You can make your character look like an orc if you wanna.

Cheers, have fun.

Also,
#nochanges
change of apperance can be charged though.

Because people get bored and like to change things.

A lot of the time people change their appearance for their own pleasure, not because they think others around them will care.

10/10. Solid argument.

Your argument works both ways. If you would never notice, and never care, what other players look like when hiding their headgear, you have no argument against Barber shops being implemented in the game. Because it wouldn’t effect you (or anyone else).

As mentioned, did you notice the updated graphics? Does it grate on you all the time? Have you quit the game yet?

You are not smart, are you, Miraldanir?

There will be no barber shop and no transmog in Classic WoW.

Go back to BFA, no body wants you here, scum.

Quiet, the grownups are having a discussion.

When playing an RPG, some people enjoy the option to choose to represent themselves through a visually coherent and thematic outfit. Others, such as you, prefer epic zombies with glowy eyes and cow monsters. What I’m trying to say is, there is room for both.

None of us can say anything for certain, but the “I own one pair of jeans IRL” squad seems to have inside knowledge on the future of the addition of features such as transmog and barbershops to Classic, or they are simply behaving like children and want to end any debate on this topic.

Hello. I have an argument against barber shop.

It wasn’t in vanilla. WoW Classic is a recreation of vanilla.

Do you want me to paint it for you or is that explained in a simple enough manner for you? Would you like a piece of candy for positive feedback as well?

What debate? There are many games where people can roleplay and change the appearance of their chosen characters. Bfa is one. In classic at the moment if we want to change the appearance of our base character, we have to start again.

I think a compromise, in which we can go back to our character creation screen and choose a different hairstyle from the options available when we first created our character, could be acceptable. Activision may think it’s a great idea and charge money to do it.

I would prefer that they don’t add features such as transmog, or barber shops in game.

The game is supposed to be an example of Warcraft in its early days, for people to play and have an idea of how it started.

We can change our character’s appearance by logging back to the character screen, deleting it and starting over. I wouldn’t know whether you’d done that or not, so I personally could accept a compromise whereby you could change your character’s appearance without deleting it.

Why do so many of us resort to insults when trying to make our point?

This would be a valid argument, if it wasn’t for the fact that there are already cosmetic changes in Classic that wasn’t in vanilla.
Water is changed. Mountains look better than the dragged out skins we saw before Catachlysm. Graphical details here and there. Flightpaths take more immersive routes.
So, your point is moot.
