Hello, I created an earthen on the horde site (alliance side still says “New” over the icon) and used the Character Boost i got from TWW, after that i wanted to play with my buddy and he noticed that i am an alliance earthen now.
I already opened a ticket in which the gm said that he is forwarding it to another team to investigate (if the ticket is marked as “answered” will i still get help?), but also told me to open a thread in the forum to gather “first hand info from players” so, here we go.
Hi, yeah same happend to me. Tho i logged in and did the first quest and then used my boost.
Have you gotten anymore info? my ticket is still just opene.
Thats all the info i have, they said the service team is unable to do something about it, so they forward it to the team responsible for it. They asked me to post about it in the forum, to gather information about it and all, not a bad idea considering im not the only person anymore 
Edit since i cant reply to my own post -.-
They basically said its not a bug after saying they have received similiar reports and i have to deal with it myself. So i actually got scammed, didnt own a faction change, didnt buy one, yet the character boost changed my faction and its my problem.
Have you received any word from a gm yet?
What else is there that i can do?
