Hi guys I saw that the Dark Portal pass is discounted at the moment and I was wondering how the boost in classic. Is it a token that you can use at a later time and scale with new content.
If I buy the character boost now, can I use it when WotLK drops and will the character be boosted to 68?
The boost appears as a token on the character selection screen like retail and it will be a 58 boost forever and not upgrade. They will be making a new one to 70, not 68.
Unlikely. You should be able to use it in WotLK, but only as a boost to 58. Since both the 58 and 70 boost seem to be limited to one per Account, you could, however, use both, if you want to boost more than one character, I guess.
