Could we please have favorite mount not be account wide but character specific.
Its a bit annoying that all characters have the same mounts.
I am a player that like diversity between my characters and beside transmogs, I like to have specific mpunts delegated to each class of witch I feel appropriate.
I still cant understand why this isnt implemented yet as I gather I am not alone in this wish.

If you add legion class mounts to favorite mount only the correct class can summon them so yes, in a bit.
I want my Paladin to have a cpl of favorite mounts that I dont want on my mage, whom should have completely different mounts set as favorite.
Then they already exist.
Pallys have 4 different class horsies from legion
Mages have 3 different discs (depending on spec)
If you get all the class mounts and set them as favourite then hit random it’ll only summon the current classes mounts

Well you can’t have everything.
Having a whole bunch of class mounts to do exactly what you’re looking for seems fair to me.
Although if they ever bring class halls back it would be nice to get some new ones
An addon called BeStride does what you want I think. Lets you choose all (or just select ones) of your mounts and picks one at random.
I use it, but I can’t remember if you could have different profiles depending on character.
why not just drag the mounts you use to the action bars?
I think you probably need to use an addon for something that specific, if one exists.
I can understand the request though and who knows, maybe we’ll see something like that in the future. You can also make suggestions in game.

Livestock addon can do this, including even more sophisticated scenarios, not just character-specific lists of mounts. For example, it also allows to create summon lists based on flying/non-flying zone, make it zone or subzone specific.
Because it’s the usual way of WoW, stock interface is very limited, but provides API under the hood, so community could develop addons for their needs.

You can download Litemount addon and make different profiles for different characters and set mounts for the profiles.
I find “random” mount useful because it summons the appropriate mount based on your situation. If you’re in the Dragon Isles it summons a dragonriding mount, outside of it a regular flying mount, if you’re swimming then an aquatic mount. I just favorite 1 of each kind and use one keybind to mount in any situation.
