So I’m experience a very weird bug.
I restored my character Qpidq on the realm Firemaw EU on Cataclysm Classic.
I rejoined my old guild NOGGENFOGGER DODGERS, got accepted.
But now from everyones point of view my character is offline in the guild while being online and cannot be kicked from anyone nor the guild master.
I cannot leave the guild either. It shows that my character isnt in the guild, while being able to read the guild chat but nothing else. When I write /gquit it says “You are not in a guild”.
When i contact customer support they just write that I should post in the forums?
Anyways would appriciate some help here since it kinda stinks being stuck in this weird “limbo”.
There seems to be quite a few reports of this bug but can’t find any working solution.
Have you tried the command:
/script declineguild()
That has worked for some people.
Yeah I saw it in another post, and tried it same with reset cvar which didn’t work either.
Ah that’s a shame but was worth a try at least. It might sort itself out if your logged out for a while but hopefully Blizz are aware of this and working on a fix!

This is a known issue sometimes affecting characters that have been deleted and restored:
Unfortunately we don’t have a workaround or additional details to share at the moment, but hopefully the underlying issue can be resolved soon enough!
