Title says it all. I am trying to find out when I first character my first ever wow character and /played just don’t work as it only shows the amount of hours I have on the character not the date Anyway one know if it’s possible to find out? There used to be a site called Warcraftrealms you could use but that seems to have been made into Wowdatabase now and only shows items and not characters.
I take it no one know if it’s possible?
Closest you can go is go to character achievents and character level. Level 10 should be earned on day one of playing that character. Hope it helps. Have a nice day
It is not possible.
Casavir has made a good suggestion. That gives you a date greater than or equal to your first character creation. I know I didn’t get anywhere near Level 10 on my first day, )and can you even see the Level 10 achievement once you hit level 20?) but something there should be close.
The other thing you should be able to do is go back through your Account Billing https://account.battle.net/transactions?purchasePage=1 and click the >> at the bottom to go to your first payment
For me that would be 27.7.2019… Sounds plausible. Is the achievement account-wide? Or just character specific?
That achievement is character specific. So log you firstly created char and check that.
That one doesn’t exist anymore.
How could you. You have 60 character slots on account…
I wasn’t happy with Worgen Druid when starting WoW for the first time.
You chose light. I respect that
Only after playing Warrior for a longer time.
I started playing before achievements were added so I can’t find anything like that out.
Let’s just say you are old. Very old.
Ooh, you can, if you mouse-hover over the 10 icon.
My first character, my Paladin, hit 10 17/4/2011
My second character, my Mage, hit 10 6/4/2011
And my first billing transaction was later, and included the game as well as game time. (I had bought the game in a shop; I’m not sure whether it included Cata. Did I buy Cata separately?) That seems odd. Was there a Starter Edition equivalent in Cata?
So I still don’t know the actual date I started, though the start of April has to be close.
Unfortunatly for players that predate achievments, there is just no way to tell a starting date.
It would be great if Blizzard adds the ability to check character’s “age”. I would always respect 18 years “old” characters.
But I am not sure if such data is saved somewhere to be enabled.
My oldest character also predates achievements but I do not see the “reached level 10” achievements anymore.
Also looks like achievements are a mix of character bound and account bound.
I mean sure I have been time traveling a lot but …
Look at my legacy character achievements, oldest is in October 2008. Did they not put the achievements around that time?
Then again, no, shhhh, this character had been time traveling for real.
Back in the day, the same character name, blood elf [visage form], was also around, I swiftly replaced it with my dracthyr self once the expansion came out, loop complete.
On the account website for billing info, I used timecards because I could not pay with banking as back then that was not supported yet. So no luck in finding the date there.
All I recall was TBC was already out and it took months to reach 60 (ok without diehard gaming)
Yes - so all achievements only go back as far as Wrath Pre-patch, since there was none before that.
If it’s your first character ever made then i assume you would of made it immediatly after you bought the game and paid your first sub?
If so you might be able to go back far enough in your payment history to figure out the date. Though even that has a limit it seems as i’ve had my account since vanilla and can’t get that far back, so depends how long you have had the account and how many transactions you have.
You could try requesting a copy of your data but it takes time to get it and i don’t know exactly what it contains. https://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/157641
I got it easy lol, My 1st character was this one, and my 1st Sub went out in 2006.
However, due to the fact that achievements weren’t introduced until much later, short of asking Blizzard I can’t see how the data can be found.
