This is an open letter to Blizzard and anyone who would like can contribute.
The currently given character customizations are not enough. I am talking to be given access to NPC options already in the game, not necessarily create more new ones.
Nighborne faces, jewelry options, Kul’tiran thin human, more druid forms, you name it. Examples are there. One addition which will be beneficial is upright Undead and Trolls.
Also more heritage armor sets.
Anyone who agrees with this please contribute with examples and requests, and upvote this topic.
We need to bring this to the attention of Blizzard, that the choice not to give any new character customizations in Shadowlands is an unpopular choice. They heavily invest in complicated expansion systems, which players mostly dislike.
This is the simple truth: K.I.S.S. Keep it simple stupid. Design long lasting easy to get systems. And keep them rolling.
What works in WOW is:
Raids
Dungeons
Character Customizations
Cosmetics
Invest heavily on these and you will get acclaimed player approval.
Well I chatted with a friend who is into 3D modeling and according to her it would take close to 0 work to do something like take the new orc haircuts and slap them onto the maghars, so I really don’t understand why blizz doesn’t do that for the ARs.
There are already many Owlbeasts in the game, whose colors are not available to players and plenty of bird-type humanoids, which would make a good model.
When you play feral or guardian, you have acces to a lot of forms from legion, but moonkin only one form or astral …
Considering how they lied about rolling out more customizations for everyone over the course of Shadowlands and how core races were merely first, allied races would “catch up”, and then going completely 180 and saying “Nope! No one gets anything, trollolol. It has to “fit” with whatever else is going on.” it seems unlikely they will 180 once more.
I’d love for everyone being given a satisfying amount of options (poor Nightborne), but it’s just not going to happen anytime soon. I’m stuck with my hunchbacked spine at least until the next expansion
Too bad, I really want some nail polish options for most female races… shared hairstyles for Draenei+LFD, Belf and Velf, nelf and nightborne… maybe even for the humans and kul’tirans…

Tattoos on non-dh races
Cuts on your body, at least for a warrior
Burning eyes… so many potential!
Id like a size option please…Im not asking for body sliders just the option of having your character come in small, medium or large like alot of the NPCs in game.
It would make a difference just to be able to have small sneaky rogues or huge warriors within the same race.
Also in an ideal dreamworld I would have a cosmetic trinket slot into which I could put any of the trinkets in game so that they would make no real difference to your gameplay, just have the cosmetic effects active.
So many awesome effects from past trinkets that you never use and could be a great way of customizing your character or adding some RP flavour.
