Character got transfered to a pvp realm without my premission

I have created this character on hc realm when the anniversary realms have launched. Leveled him to 57 and didnt renew the sub. Last week, few of my friends called me to play with them on the pvp anniversary realm. The thing is my character “moved” to pvp server from hc. The problem is he is horde and all these friends of mine are playing alliance. Support doesnt help me, because I cant reach a real human ( all the responses look like ai wrote them, a very bad one too).

P.S. My character didnt die on hardcore realm, it was just moved without a reason.

That means you likely died and/or then chose to move eventually to another realm from HC. I atleast don’t think they have moved any toons otherwise forcibly so far from HC so it would run contrary to what you’d claim.

This isn’t Blizzard’s problem.

All responses are curated by templates, that’s how the CS industry works. They’re all given by real humans therefore.

I’m curious what they answered you with though? They won’t be able to move the toon for you, change your faction as that’s not available at Classics (except progression) etc etc.

Its funny you assumed that my character died. I remember exactly that when I took a break I was in a safe place ( Tirion Fordrings house) and said goodbye to the guild.
They just replied that a dead character cant be moved or restored, that I should seek help on the forums and my local technicians.
They just could check my transactions, see I did not pay for a character transfer and help me out.
P.S. It is a very strange thing to happen. Ive even asked on reddit, nobody has even heard of stuff like this.

Characters that died, and even that didn’t, on HC realms do not have to pay for transfers. It is an automatic free option.

Hardcore Characters (dead or alive) can be transferred at any time for free from a Hardcore realm to one of the Classic Era realms:

So payment for a character transfer would not be there either way.

Is it just relevant for era servers? Because my character was created on hardcore anniversary and transfered to pvp anniversary (Spineshatter). I didnt request that.

I did not. You may also transfer it alive as Grainne posted.

Though its true I’ve not heard of a previous case before where they would chose one player to move their one toon from HC to Anniversary Classics so it’s interesting.

You’re right, as far as I can find from searching - Anniversary realms are not among those available for transfer from HC.

But also I found that neither are paid transfers available frem HC to Anniversary realms.

So there seems no mechanism to get a character from a HC to an Anniversary realm.

So where does that leave it?

I have also searched for the anniversary servers character transfer. It unavailable from the start. I guess there was some kind of a server bug maybe.
P.S. I am 100% sure I have played on a hardcore server. I was a member of a guild there that added people that got their previous character dead.
The thing is I dont really see a way to contact blizzard support, and speak in a live chst with a person that wont close the ticket after 1 answer.

P.S. I guess Ill have to delete him. Shame he is 59, could be my first level 60 vanilla character…
