For the last week or two I’ve had a problem that once or twice a day everything but my character freezes for around 15 seconds, I do not get disconnected, and after that everything works again. Chat works during that time, I can see all messages and send them.
I play Classic HC and this has happened both in open world and in instances. I am using windows 10.
There is another wow player on the same network that otherwise has the same problem but hasn’t checked whether chat works during the “disconnect” and so far it has only happened in instances. He is on windows 11 and on retail.
I have reset network devices, am using a wired connection, drivers and operating system(s) are up to date. My internet speed is good and wow says ping is below 50 at all times. This is also only a problem with wow for both of us.
Other players do not seem to experience the same issue, so the problem is propably on my side.
What can I do to figure out what’s causing it?
