Maybe if you’re a solo player, realm isn’t that important, but WHO I play with is far more important than being able to get real world names or the names of characters from books, which seem to be the ones that get taken quickly.
Besides that, I like being creative with character names. It’s rare that the first name I think of for a new character is already taken, even on a high pop realm.
My name is way more important than what server im on.
If my name is not available, im not playing there.
usually during each expansion im returning to the game after a break…
so i usually just pick the latest “for new player” realm.
start fresh each expansion

I’ve just returned after 8 years with an upgraded pc…looks so much better now but don’t know where to even start. I’m just levelling my Fury Warrior up but my old server seems to be dead. I’m looking to transfer my Pally and worrier but could use some suggestions on good EU servers with plenty of good guilds, if that’s even a thing these days? any feedback is appreciated. PS Aliance

I do this as well hahaha.
I have characters all over the place just because they have the name I want 
population doesn’t bother me too much anyway
