Hi there!
Anytime i try to login one of my characters, it says “Character not found”. The loading screen stops at around 70%.
Both of them are in Ogrimmar (Arathor server).
Update 1. Tried to login with diff characters on diff servers. Had the same message. All addons turned off.
Update 2. Now cant even log-in to character screen. Servers took down?
Update 3. Checked some EU streamers, some of them have the same problem as me and many others (Stuck on the logging message).
Update 4. Login ques back. Something happened. Still DC tho.
Update 5. Seems they found it out and working on it. Hopefully they finish it fast.
Update 6. I got in the character screen. Now stuck at 90% loadscreen. Annnd… Character not found

Same for me, cannot login on any of Gordunni characters

Same thing for me. It seems like recent bug, because 30 minutes ago everything was fine. Now i have the same “Character not found” message.

same issue here, my characters take a few minutes to appear so i can select, after logging in i get booted out with the same message

Same issue. Worked perfectly fine just before I had lunch. Now it looks like WoW didn’t like what I ate.

I have the same issue, I tried logging in my multiple chars I have on one server & all said the same thing.
Then, I thought it might be the realm. So I switched the realm to try other chars in other realms & when I went to another realm, it showed no chars & just blank.
Furthermore, I went to the realm I initially seen characters on the characters screen & they are gone in that realm too now.
All my characters are gone, I hope it is not a hack & somehow all my account & characters are gone forever. This is really distressing, hope we get some clear answer or have it solved at least today.
Edit: It seems I can’t log in anymore to try out if something has changed, guess there is no character gone missing if you can’t log in to see it. Great

It’s dead Jim. few minutes ago I was greeted by a blank character list and now the game won’t even connect anymore.
It’s always the same **** with new patches and launches, they never learn.

Same. I thought this was just an issue with a new character I made to play Exile’s Reach, but my new allied race character and my main are also stuck.
Closing WoW and logging in gives a completely black screen at server selection, and it takes several minutes before my characters populate (realm selection still shows correct numbers). A quick search and there was a similar issue during the Shadowlands beta. In that situation, the DB was in a bad state.

Same here i log in for 5 minutes and after i logout to fix my addons can enter at all. Black character or character not found or cant login.

Currently the same thing. Have had the black screen, then not able to authenticate or login. Got past the login now, but now I can’t create a new character “Character Creation timed out” and with an existing character, I get the “Character not found” popup

would not be supriced if it is some butt hurt teen who got angry becuse he lost 70 levels, and is now doing a ddos attack to get even.

This starts to be a real pathetic scenario over and over again . After every single patch or expansion, launch FaiLLizard fails with ridiculous excuses like ‘‘We are currently investigating reports of login issues. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. #BlizzCS’’ . They delayed the expansion release and also the pre-patch release and now they are still not ready … im not sure what exactly their development and testing team is doing , but its clearly they fails miserably .
it is more then a lvl drop it is also power loss. they basicaly made the game harder and alot slower pase .
hmm did play some today, ok nothing high level, but it for now felt quite the same, maby some bosses takes lil longer to kill but what I tried, it didnt matter at all.
