Character not gaining experience after using the character stuck service

Hey,

I have an alt I’m trying to level however when leaving the garrison through he north entrance, I was disconnected and couldn’t log into the character again. I used the character stuck service and logged back in, attempted to go to my quests and was disconnected again and submitted a ticket.

First attempt, GM said they fixed the issue and moved my character, however upon logging in, same disconnection issue as my character had not moved.

Second attempt, GM moved my character but turned off my experience gains (I have no idea why.)

Third attempt, GM said they did this in error and turned them back on again. I could see the experience bar in my UI so completed the ticket, however my character is still not gaining experience and I cannot create another in game ticket regarding the issue.

Overall, poor experience as this has happened due to a game bug causing inept GM’s to take 3 attempts to just move my character and have failed. I’m quite frustrated.

Nothing can be done on the forums, you still need to open a ticket and explain it better than you have here.

I don’t think GMs can turn off XP.

The conversations in my ticket say otherwise, GM’s can and do turn XP off when using your characters to prevent them gaining any experience on your behalf

I’m sorry to hear about this, it definitely sounds like a pretty frustrating situation.

That said, there is indeed not much we can do over the forums, and the best option would be to follow up in your most recent ticket and we’ll take another look at what might be the problem.
