Character realm transfer "pending" for 24hours

Hi all,

I paid for a transfer for my newly leveled hunter and it’s been pending in the chatacer selection menu for 24hours now.
Initiated the transfer from the character selection screen using the shop icon.
Payment is cleared (from blizzard wallet) and the transaction shows as complete.
I’ve raised a support ticket EU72184732 personal attempts at troubleshooting so far:
attempt to log onto character gives error: “You cannot log in until the charater update process you recently initiated is complete.”
Logged out of the game and back in.
Logged out of Battle.net app and logged back in.
Rebooted machine incase it is a local issue (that I doubt).
Created and deleted characters on both realms where I’m transfering from and to.

This issue is really frustrating as I was hoping to clear invasions on it to get some more vision to level the cloak amougst other things.
Any assistance or ideas that I havn’t tried would be greatly appricated!
Additionally I was going to race change but following this I dont feel confident I wont lose playtime…

Im having the same problem as you. Im waiting for 3days now i tried to contact Support but it says average reply time 9 days

now its my 7days … same problem

either of you had any feedback from blizz yet?

still waiitng for a response from blizz, this is getting frustrating paying for you to remove my character…

its my 4d day and my character is still pending same as ur problem and still no answer from tickets :slight_smile:

Looking at the tickets it seems both of you have done the same thing.

Firstly you sent the ticket under the “not listed” here category, for this kind of payment issue, Transaction Failure in the payment section would have made more sense as the transfer has failed on a paid service. So something is wrong with a payment possibly. Choosing the right categories is important so that we can prioritise certain tickets we receive to make sure you can play on your characters.

Secondly you both received mail AFTER the Transfer was initiated. In the future make sure your characters are ready to transfer when you make the payment and don’t send anything after you paid, as it can put the Transfer in limbo due to the mail.

Hopefully a GM should get to your tickets soon now though.

I havnt sent it any mail and cleared it’s mail before I initiated the transfer, so I can only assume someone else has or possibly a unlooted item has been sent, although there was no pending mail notificiation.
This was raised as not listed here as it wasnt a payment issue as payment has been taken from my blizzard wallet and in the transaction history is showing completed. The transfer itself has failed which i feel isnt covered under your catagories.

I personally work in support so appricate catagorisation is important and the catagories I was able to see didnt fit in my opinion as the payment itself is complete just not the task.

Again for mail I havnt sent anyhting so it looks like something was received after initiation, this would be more a replication issue on blizzards side and I know this will require a support case as raised.
I find it frustrating that it’s taken 6 days just for any response at all although the response itself I am satisfied as you’ve shown knowledge of the issue.
I have no option to cancel this and just play it on the realm it’s on until a later time but this isnt an option either, because the payment has already being taken.

As I say esstentially I’ve paid for my character to miss 2 resets at unless this is resolved in the next 24hours, which with all the time gates it particularly frustrating.

Edit: GM Ixaquin has answered my ticket and resolved my issue.
I’d like to thank him and highlighted in the survey the support from him was knowledgable and clearly explained.
However the support response time at the moment is extremely poor and the ticket catagory system is also poor.

Hi, I’ve made the same problem with transfer, sending a mail. So, now I need help, I wrote a ticket and I don’t know, which category I should choose.
