Hi! i made this topic cause i couldn’t find any relevant information about it either on topic nor costumer support.
After a long downtime i went back to play WoW DF only to find out my character list is empty. I tried recovering it as ,deleted characters’’ didnt work. My friend told me it went to a hibernated state but if i log in it should be okay. So i made a new one, logged out didnt work. I accepted the loss and leveled up a character. When i tried to send a mail in game it gave me options for my old characters to send it to so it must be somewhere in the system. Did anyone else had similar issue and if so how did you guys solve it?
Mounts and many achievements are now account wide - across your entire BNet account - it’s not a reliable guide to being on the right wow account.
One way to locate lost characters is to use the Item Recovery Service. The first step of this wizard will generate a list of all characters and reveal which realms they are on. There’s a dropdown at the top of the list where you can play about which which accounts are included in the list to help track that down if needed.
Keep in mind that if you haven’t played since BfA your characters will have been renamed to numbers - you may not recognise them any more.
If that doesn’t work you’ll need to open up a ticket to get help from a GM to locate them.
If you’re still having issues finding your old characters after following the advices posted here, Anhrot, please do open a ticket with the name and server of the characters that you’re looking for.
