I’ve noticed some topics regarding this on US forums without proper answer and since I cannot post there, I decided to ask here.
Judging by “Restore World of Warcraft Character” page in support section, there has been change ~1 month ago in eligibility window on “Retail”, where now max level deleted characters are getting purged after 365 days. Previously if I’m not mistaken they were kept in deleted list forever. However on classic it seems that 50+ level characters are still getting kept forever and not purged after 365 days?
Perhaps someone from customer support can answer is this inconsistency an mistake in article or intended functionality?
