Looks like the US region got this feature back! EU is still not working yet, but hopefully we will get it working here too after reset.

I’m getting error when trying to restore my main 
Can you be more specific? What error? What does it say?
It said something about an error while restoring, try again later. Tried it at least 5 times. But it seems to work on my other deleted character. I hope I have not lost my main forever
Oh no that doesn’t sound good if you can un-delete one but not the other. I’d personally keep trying throughout the day and if you still cannot un-delete it within a 24 hour time period I’d contact support and pray to all deities known to mankind.

I’d say, create a bug report about it.
I can confirm that restoring characters is possible, it even offers a character restoration every 60 seconds, which is great news for those who would like to restore more than one characters!

My character is back motivation to keep leveling has kind of returned, least when i am bored of playing my current characters again.
