Am I the only one who just had the order of my characters on the character select screen completely scrambled? I just logged out to swap character and found that all my characters had been rearranged in what appears to be a completely random order. A lil bit annoying when you have 56 characters that were ordered in a specific way. Had to check account logins to be sure, but no new logins. This occurred in the past hour and I would’ve expected to see discussion about it here if anyone else was affected. Weird.

Nope, my characters are still in their order. Did you close and reload wow?
Yes, it didn’t fix it. I even used alt+F4 because closing the game this way usually reverts any changes made to settings during that session because the game does not save such changes until you log out from a character or exit the game normally. But I believe the character order is stored on blizzard’s servers as soon as you make changes so it did not matter.
Not a big deal, I put the characters back in order and all is well. I’m just confused why this suddenly happened to me and seemingly nobody else. Never experienced this before.
My order hasn’t been changed. However, character select screen is still broken in terms of wrong transmogs showing up, wrong colours. Absolutely unacceptable, this issue has been around since the end of january. JANUARY ???

Yes, that issue started with the introduction of the new transmog system. I do not understand why they still have not managed to fix it because they have surely been flooded with reports. Maybe whatever is causing is it a complicated issue to resolve. That’s what I’d like to believe. I’ve seen there is a specific situation you can toggle that makes an outfit apply to the character select screen, I’ve been wondering if enabling that maybe gets around the incorrect variant issue. I should try that now.
Edit: Turning on the character select screen situation on an outfit unfortunately does not help.

I have this sometimes, when i bought tokens in ah the ingame interface layout automatically swaps and produces x profiles and sometimes that also affects my warband/character selection screen.

Oh, I guess that is it then! I had just bought a bunch of tokens on the auction house and this is the first time I have ever bought tokens. After I logged out from that character my character select was scrambled. How very strange.
Edit: For some reason it also messed up my forums profile, after I did this it set the character that had purchased the tokens as my character on the forums and I can’t set it back to the previous characters because most characters do not appear in the list anymore. It also reset my number of forum posts. What the heck???
Apart from the posts in this thread i can see two other posts u did when i click on your profile. Maybe try logging out and in again. The group: b-license thingy is weird tho what is this

Had 1 of the warbands suddenly change guess i was not imaging it.
Characters are in right order but their transmogs are all fubared

It happened again. Every x number of tokens I buy for gold on the AH my character list gets scrambled and my forum profile changes. RIP Foxwort, he no longer exists according to the forum character selector. Something cursed happens when a token is purchased. It freezes the game for a split second and resets the camera, generates duplicates of every custom HUD profile every time a token is purchased, and after enough purchases the character list has a seizure and my forum profile gets updated.
