I just had a stalled char logout attempt. Tried again, no reaction. Couple seconds later it finally logged me out of the game world, but the char screen only shows UI, no contents. Logging into other realms the same problem. Restarting the game same problem. There are no characters available! Only black background!

Had the same issue on Argent Dawn, my friend got logged out while she was online in Stormwind and we both couldn’t log in anymore
I just tried to relog as I was typing and it appears to be fixed now

I was thrown out of the game and now I’m getting slow login and black screen with no chars.
Ooh I’m finally back in the game again.

I can log in to any character except for the one I played before server crash. It says “A character with that name already exists” 
EDIT: Restarting the game helped.
