What system, if any, do you use to sort your characters on the character selection screen? Alphabetical? By Class? By Level?

I have my oldest and “most important” characters first; horde main, alliance main, first few alts on both sides. And then I stack them in order of likelihood of being played.

I put my most played character at the top, the AH mule second, the handful of 70s below that (for the weekly soup, etc - I try to play only one character actively), then low level alts that I only made to reserve a name for future use below that.

So, basically, I sort by activity.

I do it by level but when there are multiple it such as my favorites it comes down to preferred class i like to play

By the order in which their namesake was added to Heroes of the Storm.

Most played chars on alliance towards top, then horde, then alts i just dont play.

Neolithic chads : Hunter, Warrior, Shaman, Druid
Bronze age nerds: Mage, Warlock, Priest, Monk
Iron age zoomers: Paladin, DK, DH, Rogue, Evoker

Most played at the top, bank somewhere in the middle & meme / cosplay characters at the bottom.

Most used to least.

Those at the bottom probably turned into crude oil by now…

I simply order them from most-used, with my main (this toon) being on top, my 2nd most used being next and so on. After about 4 alts it’s other characters I use solely for banking purposes.

Mostly characters I actually play at the top, otherwise just chaos.

Top main and 2nd alt I play most and rest alts I dont care! :wink:

Mines kicked me out on the forums and won’t let me pick anything other than this classic char :sunglasses:

Characters I use at the top, the rest are left alone. Fairly sure the bottom is just lvl ones screaming into the void as they sit unused for years, the loneliness driving them to madness.

And I similar too.
Despite not playing anymore my Kaldoreidruid Celion and my Draenei Hunter Darnan they are still in my top ten because they are my ancient original characters.

Main first, followed by most played alt then level.

First place is always my pala, which i played since wod (reroll after mage)
then which i play in my mainraid
then the order i play in the season

Sinaaki always on top. Then followed by the other max level alts (in order of who i play most) after that they are sorted by level.

I sort by relevance. My main, Teezah, on top and the most played alts just under. Bank mules in the bottom.
